Completion July 2023

This client will be working from home throughout Summer 2021 and wants their family to get creative with herb container gardens in the kitchen windows and beds of flowers for cutting in the back garden of their brownstone home. The family usually packs up for a few weeks respite in Sicily in the early summer, but since they are choosing not to travel this year, I’ve contacted some of their favorite restaurants for recipes and we’re growing herbs and vegetables so that they can experiment with recreating some of their favorite meals.

Creating these moments at home might sound overly optimistic but with a plan in place, it all comes together so easily. The scent of lemon trees, basil and rosemary alongside vases filled with dahlia? What a beautiful way to take a moment to appreciate the day.
